4 Mukhi Rudraksha

4 mukhi rudraksha beads require proper care and attention.

 Regularly clean any dust or grime collected in the mukhis or recesses.

 Dry it in sunlight after soaking overnight in plain water.

 Apply oil on it to make it last long.

 Do not clean with detergent or chemicals and Soap

 It should not come in contact with Talcum powder.

How to Wear 4 Mukhi Rudraksha?

The essence of the 4 mukhi rudraksha can be activated by performing a puja. It is a must before wearing the rudraksha bead. There are 2 types of poojas that can be used for energising the 4 mukhi rudraksha. They are:
The 1 st pooja ritual is given below:

•  Before starting, take some Gangajal or Panchamrut and clean the Rudraksha /mala with it
•  Next, apply sandalwood paste on the 4 mukhi rudraksha
•  Light agarbatti or kapur and wave it around the rudraksha to purify it
•  Offer flowers to the rudraksha, preferably white in colour
•  Touch it to a shivling or photo of Lord Shiva while chanting 'Om Namah Shivaya' 11 times.

The 2 nd type of puja can be performed as follows:

•  You will need Panchagavya/ Panchamrit and Gangajal in an achmani, along with offerings like peepal leaves, gangajal, dhoop and coconut to perform the puja
•  Sit facing east
•  Wash the rudraksha in plain water mixed with Gangajal
•  Place it on a copper plate with 9 peepal leaves.
•  Apply sandalwood paste to the rudraksha and offer flowers
• Chant: AUM Namaha Shivay, Aum Hreem Namaha’ 108 times.
